The Customer

Anhui Yingjia Mountain Spring Co., Ltd. was founded in 2001 with registered capital of more than 30 million RMB. The company draws on the pollution-free natural spring water and abundant resources of the Dabie Mountains in western Anhui.

Rather than operating as a single-product bottler, Yingjia runs a diversified beverage plant producing more than twenty products across four ranges — water, tea, herbal drinks and fruit juice — generating an annual output value of around 300 million RMB.

Why that matters for the water system

A multi-product plant places different demands on water treatment than a single water line. Treated water feeds not only the bottling line but also tea extraction, herbal infusion, syrup preparation and CIP circuits across the factory. Capacity, distribution and consistency all had to be planned around the whole plant rather than one filler.

Project Requirements

The system had to handle a protected natural spring source while meeting the requirements of a plant running several product lines in parallel.

  • Treat 120 tonnes per hour of natural spring water from the Dabie Mountain source
  • Retain the dissolved minerals that define the product as natural mineral water
  • Supply treated water to bottling, tea, herbal and juice production simultaneously
  • Maintain output during cleaning cycles across multiple production lines
  • Provide sanitary storage and distribution across the plant

The System We Built

Because the product is natural mineral water, the process was built around ultrafiltration rather than reverse osmosis. Reverse osmosis removes dissolved salts, which would strip out the very minerals that give the product its classification and taste. Ultrafiltration removes suspended solids, colloids and microorganisms while leaving the mineral profile of the spring intact.

Capacity was sized above the combined consumption of the bottling line and the processing sections, so cleaning cycles on one line do not interrupt production on another.

Equipment Supplied

Delivered

The completed system supplies treated mineral water at 120 tonnes per hour to the plant's bottling line and processing sections, supporting production across the company's water, tea, herbal and juice ranges.

  • 120 T/H treated-water capacity in continuous operation
  • Mineral profile of the Dabie Mountain source retained in the finished product
  • Single treatment system serving four product ranges
  • Production line speed: 13 bottles/sec (46 800 bottles/hour),Energy Consumption,0.11‑0.15 kWh per bottle, including utilities (air compressor, chiller, water treatment, CIP cleaning),water‑recovery rate for non‑RO natural‑spring plant: 78%‑85%,
  • Passed 111‑item lab test in three rounds, awarded “China Premium Water Source” in 2018.
  • Finished natural spring‑water typical indicators:
     ‑ PH value: 7.45‑8.46 (naturally weak‑alkaline)
     ‑ Metasilicic acid: 9.0‑40 mg/L
     ‑ Strontium: 0.06‑0.20 mg/L
        ‑ Certifications: Green‑Food Grade‑A, ISO 9001 & ISO22000, National High‑Tech Enterprise

Yingjia Mountain Spring is a core beverage subsidiary under Anhui Yingjia Group, located at Yeling Industrial Park in Huoshan County, on the northern foothills of the Dabie Mountains, Anhui Province.

Water Source

The plant sources raw water from Foziling Reservoir, officially recognized as one of China’s Premium Water Sources. Mountain spring run‑off from Dabie Mountain’s main peak filters through over 600 000 mu of bamboo forests and granite rock layers. The output is natural weakly‑alkaline water rich in metasilicic acid, strontium, calcium, magnesium and other beneficial trace elements. The factory follows the strict principle of bottling right at the water source to preserve the original natural water quality, without long‑distance water transportation.

Project Scale & Investment

Total investment of the industrial park reaches RMB 3 billion, covering an area of more than 1666.6 thousand square meters

  • Annual capacity: 1 000 000 tons of natural spring water plus 100 000 tons of diversified beverages.
  • Product portfolio: natural spring water, soda water, tea drinks, fruit juices, Dendrobium‑based health beverages and other series, totalling over 40 SKUs for small‑size bottles, large‑volume bottles and bulk barreled water.
  • Certifications: National Green‑Food certification, Hi‑tech Enterprise accreditation, ISO quality‑management and food‑safety system approvals.

Production Technology & Equipment

The production workshop adopts world‑class integrated blow‑fill‑spin monoblock lines imported from Europe, completing bottle blowing, filling and capping in one closed‑aseptic environment. The line speed can reach 13 bottles per second.

The water‑treatment process mainly adopts ultra‑filtration and physical sterilization instead of reverse‑osmosis, to retain the natural mineral composition of spring water. The whole workflow includes raw‑water collection, multi‑stage filtration, UV disinfection, blow‑fill‑spin, labelling, film wrapping and automated warehousing. Strict laboratory testing runs through the whole production chain to guarantee food safety.

Project Mode & Reference Value

This is a typical source‑on‑site bottling turn‑key beverage project, integrating water‑source protection, water‑treatment workshop, filling lines, packaging workshop, utility system (compressed air, cooling, sewage treatment), laboratory and automatic high‑bay warehouse.

For investors planning mineral‑water or natural‑spring‑water factories, Yingjia Mountain Spring serves as a valuable reference case: the core point is to protect natural trace‑element features of source water, and deploy high‑speed aseptic blow‑fill‑spin production lines.
